🚨BIG NEWS🚨 We welcomed @governor.ny.gov to the Pomonok Community Center, where she announced $100M in NY BRICKS grants, including $5M to transform our Center for Pomonok neighbors. ✨

Our PS 82Q afterschool students had a wildly fun day! 🦎🐍 Thanks to Alley Pond Environmental Center for bringing amazing animal friends—from a chinchilla to a bearded dragon! 🎨🍂 Students ended the day with a cozy fall paint & sip, taking home their masterpieces to share.

Strength in numbers! Participants from our six older adult centers were together at Queens Borough Hall for Age Strong Queens Advocacy Day! 💪 We joined in advocating for increased funding for aging services, including nutrition, housing, and community support.
