Taking a break from ALL social media. The pressure to be vigilant in sharing things online and all of the doom scrolling, fear mongering from both sides, has taken a toll on my mental health. I am no longer the vibrant, youthful person I was once was. I'm tired. I still care but need a break. 💜✌️

I'm legitimately depressed. People don't care that I'm leaving Meta.
It's as if they're all addicted and are thinking "you'll be back".
What is stopping me from deleting it today is that Meta is holding hostage 2 decades of memories. I don't have those stored anywhere else.
Gonna go find a bridge.
