Oh yes, follow MLS's plan to change the calendar year. Same should go for USL (United Soccer League) in both the Championship, One, and Two on the Men's side and the Super League on the Women's side, but also add promotion and relegation to it.
MLS will flip its calendar in 2027. The #NWSL has talked about the possibility for years. Could MLS' decision force the hand of the NWSL? The pros and cons, with insight from a commissioner, GM, player perspective + further reporting.
Berman puts NWSL 'on notice' for calendar change
NWSL commissioner Jessica Berman said "our ecosystem is on notice" about the league potentially flipping its calendar to being in late summer and end in late spring.
