After learning TypeScript, I can’t help but wonder… why is JavaScript still the default starting point? 🤔

Learned Express, EJS, MongoDB, Mongoose, and Auth in just a few days. It once took me months to grasp just HTML, CSS, and JS.
Is this improvement? Progress?
I'd like to believe it is 🚀

Took me a month to realize that all the raw HTML & CSS I practiced earlier is rarely typed manually in real-world dev.
Wish I had started "real" development sooner—but hey, glad I know now.

Progress is progress😌

Published my second article on Medium.

If you've ever been stuck in Vim or breezed through Nano, you know the struggle. But in an age where VS Code rules, do we still need them?

I break it down in my latest piece! Check it out:

Few days back Cursor AI announced 1 year of free Pro for students.
I was genuinely excited — went to sign up with my college email… only to find India’s not even on the list anymore.
We were there initially. Quietly removed later. Why do Indian students always pay the price for a few bad actors?

C is finally out of my way—wrapped up the last assignment today.
Only did it because college made me do it, and I’m done for good now.

Finally going on vacation! 🌱
April 28, 2025 at 4:22 AM
Why can't my college just give at least 2 months of summer vacation??? Every other college started their break ages ago and here I am, hearing we’ll barely get less than 2 months.
This college sucks fr.

Merge conflicts? Nah, I just deleted the whole branch.

End sems done, first year done.
Back to the grind.

It's not even midway through, yet I'm already tired of these end sems.

I want to start competitive programming—do I have to learn C++ for it? Or is C/Java good enough??

Would love some advice from experienced folks!

The Hackathon at IIT Bhubaneswar was an eye-opener. As the only first-years, we faced the same tough problem as everyone else — but we didn’t back down. We showed up, gave it everything we had, and walked away with lessons we’ll carry forward.

This is just the beginning!!

Wikipedia's biggest users aren’t humans—they’re AI bots!
Wikimedia says 65% of their traffic now comes from AI crawlers training genAI models, causing slowdowns and higher costs.
They're exploring sustainable access solutions now.
