Driving home from FWA I thought a lot about @hopecollie.bsky.social ‘s panel. I absolutely needed the reminder to love every part of myself and take actionable steps to achieve my goals. It’s hard for me to put into words how relevant and important this panel was to me.

For me, a regular occurrence is i’ll be having a conversation with someone, and i’ll be fully aware the conversation is important to remember. Since i’m unable to put aside my other thoughts I cannot for the life of me remember what was just told to me. I ask people to repeat themselves all the time
It’s a common misconception that ADHD is just an inability to focus. Really, it’s a struggle to control focus.
I can hyperfixate for hours on complex but pointless tasks and freeze on simple tasks.
Some days, my brain’s a Lamborghini with no brakes. Other days, a rusty bike with a stuck chain.

After losing a bunch of weight (100lbs over the course of 2 years) some of my kink gear either is now a bit too big on me and baggy, or is just perfect because it used to be too small and tight.

To add, so far ive learned basic data science coding in python, watched up to week 4 of Harvard’s CS50 course, completed the Blender Donut tutorial, did some character tutorials for blender, started GODOT’s 2d game tutorial, and learned how to use Davinci Resolves fusion tab.
I can’t make my mind up on what I want to create. I keep bouncing back and forth between things I’m wanting to learn but I cant stick with something for more than a couple days before going to the next thing on my rotation. I guess i’ll eventually have something to show for it.

Been going down the rabbit hole of open source and free video and photo programs and I kinda wish i learned these sooner. Like Divinci Resolve can do so much. And guess what? You dont have to be price gouged to own it you can just have it or pay once for more features.
