1 You don't mind foreshadowing that is far from subtle
2 You don't mind constant references to social media as that happens a lot at the start
3 You like amusement parks and want to see them more in horror

The book has taken a turn into completely interesting and I will stop giving my thoughts on each chapter now, but I will link a goodreads review when I'm done reading and I will update here if anything changes quality-wise.

There's more setup here. A character has gone missing in the sense that he wasn't with the others for breakfast. The man who owns the island wasn't worried. Is this because it's a teenage boy or did he kill him? I'm leaning towards the latter.

This chapter mainly just had the main character, Paisley, exploring the amusement park on the island by herself at night and experiencing some srange things that gave her the chills. It feels like the setup for a payoff later, so I'm invested.

Luckily, this chapter continues the trend from the last of things actually happening. The first two chapters were setup and now we get to enjoy a book that's getting interesting. I thought I would hate all the references to Tik Tok, but it's not that bad.

We're finally getting into the territory of interesting things going on and away from the social media references. While social media is still talked about a good deal, things actually happen in this chapter. Better yet, something slightly spooky happens.

We're finally starting to get away from social media to talk more about the island and amuesment park, but the fact that the main character is an influencer is still very important. I do like the writer's voice, I just don't know how I feel about the work.

Meeting the characters was fun and each character is unique enough from each other to be memorable, even if they fit different sterotypes well. I'm still a bit weary of allthe pop cultyre and social media references, hoping this book goes above them!
