Participants who consumed videos at 2x the normal speed trained their brains to expect constant novelty & immediate gratification. Instead of feeling connected & in control, they were caught in a compulsive loop, scrolling out of habit & at the expense of focus, sleep & self-worth.

Reading about depression treatment in medieval societies.
