The Trump administration has begun firing employees at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, one of the world’s premier centers for climate science.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Denise Cheung resigned from the Department of Justice on Tuesday rather than approve an investigation she felt lacked sufficient evidence, according to reporting from the @washingtonpost.com. Cheung had worked at DOJ for more than 24 years.
