Two and a half months later, we bottled two kinds of mead. 15-18% of deliciousness. One is a white wine yeast and very sweet, other is dry with berries added to flavor it

Weekend plan: master the Jaws theme to play on the piano in the living room when there's a child toddling around looking to cause chaos.

First official range day with a Colorado liberal gun owners group. Zeroed some stuff to 100 yards, moving drills for competition, some fun with my shotgun and suppressed 9mm. Grasslands are a wild place to go shooting. Balanced it out with starting some vegetable seeds.

Nothing like looking over to see some nice smoke on the desk. Whoops. Sensor hit other pins in the rat nest of wires I currently have up.

It's been a hot minute since I wrote something on

Finally got one of my #TheExpanse kits up and just brought it to the office because of space. Has a sweet #Gemini patch on it though, which feels fitting.

Tonight's project: fixing a replica cowboy revolver. Pawl had snapped, so I disassembled the entire thing to see how it works. Took me longer than I like to admit to realize the hammer wasn't seated on the main spring in the handle when I had first reassembled it.

Took this a week after the last picture to measure difference. Should have cabbage, cauliflower, and celery soon, which is great because I really need the greenhouse space for new seed starts. #gardening #greenhouse

Thing to learn for this weekend: fixing a 110 year old piano key. Looks like I just need to disassemble the whole key setup to re-pin the flange.

Multiple inches of snow outside today, but this is growing strong in the greenhouse.

So my Tikka rifle has a proprietary magazine that cost ~$100 for the official steel version. 3D printed a new one with high rigidity/heat PLA and tossed in 1/3rd of an AK-74 spring and we're off to the races for ~$5 per magazine (and I have enough spring to do 9).

Finally got around to making a venting system for the laser. Tested it out making the golden Voyager record that I've wanted for my space corner for a while. Pretty stoked with it.
