really does feel like people were taught to denounce things as immoral as kids and as they grew up only inspected weather the targets of their vitriol were the best ones rather than inspecting whether that vitriol was a good thing in the first place

really wish we knew of more techniques for centering oneself or dealing with stress that don't involve grounding oneself in one's physical body. like- that's the part that hurts. that's what's causing the stress and pain, and the reason it isn't worse is because I'm real good at dissociating by now

honestly the biggest anti social media talking point I completely agree with at this point is how much it desensitizes people, and how much that combined with a constant stream of news means that no scandal really has staying power anymore.

seeing all the responses to that gundam article be people disliking gqux feels- I dunno, surprisng? unfamiliar? it felt like those in my gundam circle broadly either liked the show or at least respected what it was trying to do, but it seems like that isn't the case more broadly apparently?
