There is more to this than the obvious corruption. I suspect it is the latest attempt to withhold the incriminating Epstein files. If DOJ has an open, ongoing investigation into Epstein again, it can use that fact as a pretext for withholding any documents, lest it undermine the case. So shady.

Trump must go, along with his core cabinet. But he must go with our Congress removing him legally and in a united effort with the support of the courts, military and the people. It starts with the people and the vote. Only through the people and their representatives will it heal the wound.

Someday, those senators and representatives who covered for Trump in one of the most disgraceful chapters in our history, a day as infamous as any in US history will be remembered and branded for their behavior leading to Jan6. They will be viewed as trash and traitors.

At best the emails show a real long lasting and somewhat intimate relationship with Epstein and a lot of good insights into Trump’s character.
