Mod makers are funny little creatures. Sometimes they'll make something pretty cool in their free time just for the love of the game and then others will charge you REAL MONEY for something small like a hair.

Class Identity in XIV was dead the moment they began releasing armor sets that were wearable by both tanks and DPS. Much like how sometimes scouting and striking gear end up being the same.
Them making everything non-class/level locked in the glammer dresser isn't what killed it. It's BEEN dead.

Was already feeling a bit of burnout prior to 7.3 but the absolute state of the community since Mare died has made wanting to interact with this entire game just a slow agonizing pain.

I really should do like... an OC spread. Showing off all the characters I've made. Eredith is my favorite, but sometimes I just make characters, give them a burst of lore and throw them into the wild as civilians. I wonder if others would enjoy them. 🤔
