Hands Off protest this afternoon in Pittsburgh was the largest I have personally attended in Pittsburgh, ever. I posted a bunch of clips over on the Other Site but will share at least a few highlights here?

When Dems put forward great candidates, we win (even in Trump +15 districts!)

The PA Senate currently stands at 27R - 23D. This is the highest amount of seats Dems have held in over ten years!

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

While the GOP did well at the top of the ticket in Pennsylvania, something remarkable happened on the down ballot. Democrats held every single one of their 102 seats thus retaining their one seat majority in the lower chamber. Democrats will be able to continue setting the legislative agenda in PA.
