I tried to watch The Last of Us, but I couldn't even get through a third of the first episode without my anxiety spiking so hard I had to give up. It's a shame, because it looks so good.

The Gulf of Mexico is the name given by its first colonizers, the Spanish and then the Europeans.
But ancient Indigenous Mayan civilization named it Chactemal, meaning "the red place."
So let's reject colonial rule and go back to it's original Mayan name.

Killed my Amazon Prime and my Disney+ subscriptions. I know it's a drop in the bucket of resistance to American threats, but it's what I can do.
I hope that something gets resolved before the end of March. I would hate to cancel my trip to Tucson because it's too dangerous for Canadians to travel.

For the first time since I've been diagnosed as having type 2 diabetes, I tested my blood sugars at 5.5. Normally, I've been testing at between 6 and 10. Feels great!

Today is a day I've been dreading. I'm going to see the dentist to have more teeth pulled, then getting my first denture.
I'm going to get emotional. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it together until I get home, but I might lose it in the metro.

If Trump decides to withhold funding from California to deal with the wildfires, this might be an excellent time for Canada to offer their aid in exchange for California's succession from the US and become the 11th province.
