I’m enjoying speculating on the Epstein email trove as much as anyone who despises the regime but I feel like at some point we need to stop snickering and consider the larger implications of the Russian president actually being able to pull the American one’s strings due to kompromat.

I know Steve Bannon is a professional troll, but given all of the bullshit the Republicans have pulled to grab power for themselves recently, it seems like it’s worth taking him seriously when he says they’re going to find a way to skirt the 22nd Amendment.

Yes, but then why would we assume that Fox News has the same editorial standards that MSNBC does? Liberals and liberal institutions hold themselves to higher standards than conservative ones do because the majority of their base expects them to.

I feel like I’ve been saying this since he won last November: this guy knows what awaits him when he’s ousted. He has every incentive to prevent himself from being dislodged and so far he looks poised to get away with it. The Russification of the United States continues on schedule.
