Women are everything. Everything they have to do is infinitely harder for them than us men. I realized today the only time that it may be harder for us is when we are standing up using the bathroom while on a flight with an insane amount of turbulence.

Being married to a first-generation Indian, we often reflect on the model minority myth and how people of her descent are conditioned by it before they even arrive. This is just scratching the surface, but it’s a good read nonetheless.

Kendrick's halftime performance was incredible. It was a master class in theme and layered storytelling and it was unapologetically Black. There's a lesson there for creative people to be fearless as we grow and never be afraid to be yourself. Someone is always going to have an opinion. Just do YOU.
