I find this happens so frequently on games I have not played for a while, you forget all the mechanics but have a proper save so doing the tutorial again would not work.
Tried to log onto cult of the lamb to play the expansion and was immediately overloaded by the number of things I had to do that I forgot how to do and turned it off
