in much of the art this one likes, there is a kind of baked-in interplay between the metaphorical and the real. to be defined in some way is to embody that aspect. to invoke in name is to invoke in truth, and a leap between signifier and signified is not really a leap at all

oh. we adopted a strategy like this for the main superboss (shiva) and it worked. saved enough level-up items to leap to 99 from the low 80s, but it wasn't even necessary thanks to a sound team and smart strategy :3
it's a slow-and-steady offensive that doesn't build to explosive turns or maximally-buffed devastating offense. she holds her ground and keeps on swinging until the bosses fall and i DON'T UNDERSTAND
