It would be a dream come true if some day I could go abroad (I’m from Brazil 🇧🇷) for a research exchange program… I like dreaming, sometimes dreams do become real. Who knows, right? Anyways, Rare Disease Day is approaching and I just want to share how grateful I am for my journey so far. 🙏🏼👩🏻‍⚕️🦓

And every day I’m sure, if my body allows me to, I want to work on rare diseases research, specially autoinflammatory diseases and their complex genetics and immune regulation. My favourites subjects on my pre clinicals were Genetics and Immunology. 🤓 Yep, I’m a nerd. Guilty as charged. ✋🏼😅

I don’t know if anybody will read this but I just wanted to share I’m starting my 4th semester on med school. Being a person with multiple rare diseases myself, I’m amazed every time I realise how surreal this is. 🥹 The patient in me is learning about her own body and I’m so grateful for that! 🥹🥹

Are there people on the left looking at crypto? I truly believe the left should occupy this space (not the meme coin craziness), but the idea behind decentralised services. With far right governments rising all over the world, I see resistance finding shelter on blockchain. Am I tripping?🤔

And now they’re devastated because bitcoin wasn’t mentioned on his speech. They were expecting prices to surge today, but they’re plummeting even further… So some are already coping: “Btc reserve doesn’t need to be done on the 1st 24hs”…

And sadly Brazil is importing this exact divide. 😓 The right here seems to want to sell our country to the US billionaires. 🫠 What baffles me is how the rich can convince the poor to believe and fight for the rich interests!!! 😭

Estou ansiosa pra ver os vídeos do pessoal passando e me emocionar junto. Porque essa alegria de conquistar um sonho é universal e inesquecível. 🥹

Apesar de ser MUITO difícil cursar Medicina sendo uma pessoa portadora de doenças raras, tem sido uma aventura muito massa. Vendo o pessoal postar sobre o Sisu, me fez ficar grata por já estar indo pra o 4° período. Grata por ter tido pensamento forte, como dizia Chorão. 🥲

Temporada de SiSU… Há 2 anos atrás era minha vez. No meu ano foram 8 dias de sisu, um caos na terra. Mas pense no alívio quando vi que tinha sido aprovada em Medicina. Fiz a prova em meio a uma crise inflamatória, à base de remédio mais forte que morfina. Às vezes nem eu acredito que deu certo! 🥹

Honestly, social media is broken. I just turned 30 and I remember Orkut, MySpace and MSN. 🥹 User experience was smooth! Now, it’s all broken. 😓YouTube search/recommendation is rubbish, Instagram feed is pure ad, Twitter seems like 4chan… Everywhere I look there’s so much hate and disinformation! 😩
