I was doing some very light reading of the AI cashburn that is going on right now and what I really look forward to about the eventual bubble burst is the empty-headed journal headlines that will say something like, "how could this have happened :[" as if people haven't warned about it for years.
Slightly off-topic, but I asked my students how the AI industry is supposed to make a profit while also paying for its massive multi-billion dollar debts.
The fact they couldn't even point to a clear pathway of profit for this industry told me everything I needed to know.

I'm currently experiencing FFXIV's ARR and HW expansions again (vicariously) and I forgot how much of the early game is both very exciting and also ridiculously boring.
Having played since 2017, its nice to get to see it through fresh eyes again.
