Managed to catch this Dutch prog outfit live a few years ago and was hugely impressed.

My favourite soul releases from the past 4 years (first 3 all debut albums). All excellent but Jalen Ngonda’s in particular is well worth searching out if Motown is/was once your thing.
Apologies to prog rockers … remember, I am only ‘primarily’ prog 😀

A good year with Jon Anderson sounding as youthful as ever after well over five decades of performing and Mike Portnoy returning to live touring with Dream Theater after an absence of 13 years.

As good a top 5 as I can remember.
Looking forward to some great new music in 2026, most immediately LIFT, the 5th Neal Morse Band studio album due for release on 27th February.

Was listening to an interview for the new NMB album and how the band came together in the studio with nothing written.
Neal was up at 3am every day, wrote a song from scratch which the band then rehearsed and recorded later that day.
Amazing fellow.
