DeSantis is a wannabe dictator who spends all his time banning free speech and working to form his own group of brown shirts to intimidate voters. He is worse than "not crazy."
I think DeSantis would probably be okay as SecDef. He’s a jerk, but he’s not crazy. He’s a conventional guy; his problem as a GOP presidential candidate was that he couldn’t convincingly play a nut job on TV.
But it’s sad that the best we can hope for these days is “not crazy.”
