#Hoboken Day469:Mini water main break on Hudson St yesterday, delayed removal of the bike racks from the street. I was informed relocation will be next week. Racks will now sit in the area to the right of the hole & the parking spaces returned to their original use.

#Hoboken Day449: Did you know Municipal Parking Revenue brings in at least $7mil a year & plugs a big hole in the budget? It also employs many municipal workers.
While some dislike cars, they are a part of how Hoboken pays the bills.

#Hoboken Day446: NJTransit recognized the 126 route’s ridership increase & is ordering larger buses[below], arriving by year’s end! While this is positive, a shortage of qualified drivers might impact service. Side note: the NJ Transit app is great for bus times & capacity!

#Hoboken Day423: We survived!
There was a lot of doubt, however today the PATH is open.

#Hoboken Day420: After a lot of discussion and patience from the Department of Transportstion. We found a place to put 2 fast charging EV stations which will not disrupt neighbors. It will sit across from a parking lot and a private parking garage near 77 Garden.

#Hoboken Day418:When the City ignores problems, they grow. E-delivery bikes on sidewalks are becoming the norm, not the exception. This continues to get worse. The time to act is now while numbers are lower. Council gave laws to Mayor to enforce,

#Hoboken Day414: President George Washington set the two-term precedent to avoid lifelong rule, emphasizing democratic transitions.
Today, we honor the past presidents who guided our nation through challenges and progress.

#Hoboken Day413:Municipal garage revenue profit topped $6m —funding budget, studies & infrastructure. Daytime sellouts are great—how about nights? Maximizing overnight efficiency is key.
Need to explore—Uber-style model to boost curb space, revenue & time looking for a space.

#Hoboken Day410: Next week, we vote on Parklet ordinance changes. I contacted the HBA to ask Parklet owners for feedback to ensure all concerns are addressed. City must also commit to proper inspections for these changes to work.
What are your thoughts/concerns?

#Hoboken Day407:In winter, e-delivery riders head to NYC since it’s busier, giving City Hall a perfect chance to make roads/sidewalks safer. Yet, public concerns keep getting ignored. It’s not time to be cute—just listen & act. Why the delay? Melting snow won’t wash the problems.

#Hoboken Day406: One week into the PATH shutdown—things are smoother than expected. It proves our transit system can adapt when challenged.
Imagine this level of service daily on buses, ferries, light rail, & NJ Transit.
Hopefully, Trenton & Transit Leadership is paying attention.
