GenX decision-makers thinking that banning young people from social media will force them to experience some rose-tinted tech-free childhood like the ones they had, are totally ignoring the fact that offline social & information spaces have been totally defunded/destroyed!

Social media and the Internet are absolutely crucial technologies for marginalised communities and especially young individuals who otherwise would spend their adolescence feeling isolated and wrong. Which I can attest to because that was my adolescence under Section 28. And the OSA reinforces that.
