Yesterday I went and looked at the public display for the National Gingerbread House Competition, and I’m pretty sure that this one in the child’s competition was supposed to be Jesus in the manger but to me it was giving Eraserhead baby.

I just went down a vintage candy rabbit hole and learned that Lucky Charms were first developed because a guy at General Mills cut up orange circus peanuts and put them in his Cheerios.

I’ve never noticed it until recently, but in a way starting out in comics broke my brain as a writer a little bit. Both in my book and this movie I’m working on I find myself approaching story very episodically because of it which I find interesting.

Started playing Siren tonight and I don’t think I’ve ever played a game before that is this uniquely tedious in its difficulty. But I’m finding it compelling enough to stick with it for now, the atmosphere is great.

This person and I used to be mutuals, it’s quite frustrating to me how often I’m reduced to just this crazy radical scapegoat for so many people mainly for saying that good movies should generally, you know, actually be about something.

I’ve started rewatching some of The X-Files and it really is amazing that even a bad episode of this is exponentially better than almost anything from the streaming era.

I watched History of the Occult tonight without really knowing anything about it going in and thought it was great. Actually quite scary and well done. It’s a little funny watching a movie really succeed at what Late Night With the Devil was trying to do.

These two projects got a little too complicated and are being moved to January to make sure that they are done in the style that they deserve. There will be a different main video next week though.
I’ve had a problem with this script I’ve been working on, but now I’m feeling good about it. As a result of this though there’s going to be two main videos this month. Hopefully a week apart from each other, not a part one and part two situation but still related to each other.

Got to this boss in Silent Hill F and the game is really clicking for me now. I don’t agree with everything it’s doing, but I’m really enjoying watching it come into its own and I’m liking it way more than the 2 remake as of now.

Started playing Silent Hill F, and I genuinely do like it, but I’m having the same issues I had last year with the 2 remake where it just makes me feel like I’d rather be playing the old ones. Strange issue with this series that I don’t ever feel with new Resident Evils.

Man it’s been such a weird month for me, I only watched six movies all of September that weren’t work related which like never happens. I’ll have to do better in October about it.
