Nothing like an after lunch antacid chew to really complete a meal

It’s not that I think you are lying to me, it’s that I don’t think your news sources are telling you the truth.

Starting to think I need to invest in a company that builds fainting couches. I’ve not heard so many people “why I’ve never!” this hard since a band from Texas voiced their distain in a previous president.

I like to think that everyone has a song they mumble to themselves when thinking…. And I hope that I’m not the only one that has the Smurf song as their pause song. That would be so smurfing sad.

And here I thought the operation of sports associations by self-serving individuals and their minions was taking away opportunities from my kids, but it turns out it was trans athletes all along. 🤷‍♀️

Why don’t we stop calling it SCOTUS and call it SCROTUS, as some of their decisions are just nuts?

It’s a good day to exercise your first amendment rights.

The missing decorum in the Oval Office yesterday was not due to someone not wearing a suit.

It seems like it isn’t enough to be a voice of reason. We need to start acting to help from the bottom up. Trump gave a voice to the angry and an enemy. We need to start from the community level upward to make a change especially in rural communities.

A little poem for those who refuse to acknowledge our shared fate if we don’t resist.

The noose that hangs me is the same that hangs you. The only difference is mine is fresh, while yours is battered and used.

Don’t neglect others suffering because of your own comfort.

If they are attempting to scrub all Federal websites of ‘gender ideology’ I think it’s time for a federal employee to replace all gendered terms with they/them/theirs. It’s time to use their tactics against them.

From an ecological perspective, draining the swamp isn’t a good idea.

I like to do a reactionary pause to things that may potentially offend me. If the first reaction is to respond to the contrary that means I need to reflect on why I feel compelled to defend. It has helped me to reflect on my own biases and prejudices.

Every time I see someone reply MAGA to any slight criticism I think of O’Doyle Rules from Billy Madison and how they yelled it as they careened off a cliff.

Sorry junk emails I don’t need a daily joke of the day right now. It’s here, end of punchline.

I feel the only appropriate couple’s nickname for the Musk/Trump administration would be the Mump Administration.

Can we refer to all accomplishments and failures as part of Vance’s administration? I’d like to hear people remind me that the Vice President doesn’t have any power.

Bragging about being unvaccinated is like someone knowing there is a chance that a pop quiz is going to happen and refusing to study the study guide that was handed out because they don’t think the quiz will be hard or even exists.

It’s so cold out today that I have multiple ways to give people directions. The key is to have a good enough bra on that I’m not pointing in two opposite directions.

I want to see one apocalyptic movie that has the bravery to have the characters rejoice that they have found the jacket to help them survive the bitterness of winter… the Letterman’s Jacket.

CAPTCHA forces me to philosophically think about what is technically considered part of a traffic sign.

I think we are about to see an increase in security for CEOs at major companies and not a robust conversation about the response on social media to the targeted attack or the underlying issues.

As interesting as the “discussion” has been about the pardon system, I’d prefer a conversation about the incarceration system. What is the purpose of prison? Is it reform or punishment? How do we adjust once we figure this out? I will know better how to feel about pardons once I know this.
