And here I thought the operation of sports associations by self-serving individuals and their minions was taking away opportunities from my kids, but it turns out it was trans athletes all along. 🤷♀️

It seems like it isn’t enough to be a voice of reason. We need to start acting to help from the bottom up. Trump gave a voice to the angry and an enemy. We need to start from the community level upward to make a change especially in rural communities.

If they are attempting to scrub all Federal websites of ‘gender ideology’ I think it’s time for a federal employee to replace all gendered terms with they/them/theirs. It’s time to use their tactics against them.

I like to do a reactionary pause to things that may potentially offend me. If the first reaction is to respond to the contrary that means I need to reflect on why I feel compelled to defend. It has helped me to reflect on my own biases and prejudices.

Bragging about being unvaccinated is like someone knowing there is a chance that a pop quiz is going to happen and refusing to study the study guide that was handed out because they don’t think the quiz will be hard or even exists.

It’s so cold out today that I have multiple ways to give people directions. The key is to have a good enough bra on that I’m not pointing in two opposite directions.

I think we are about to see an increase in security for CEOs at major companies and not a robust conversation about the response on social media to the targeted attack or the underlying issues.

As interesting as the “discussion” has been about the pardon system, I’d prefer a conversation about the incarceration system. What is the purpose of prison? Is it reform or punishment? How do we adjust once we figure this out? I will know better how to feel about pardons once I know this.
