I’m really excited to announce that not only am I moving there to Corvallis to improve access to the resources at Oregon State University, but Build Soil has a place to do experiments and demonstrations down there!

We’re already talking about doing some very large fun projects!

Many people are suggesting that it's impossible to protect privacy, so it doesn't matter which app you use.

Others are trying Rednote because they are, reasonably, tired of tech oligarchies.

Both are understandable reactions to the surveillance capitalism ecosystem. But there's more we can do. 🧵

A man in Indiana made an AT-AT costume for his horse, intending to only get a few pictures before removing it. When he took off the headpiece the horse got upset and insisted that he put it back on, which made the horse happy again. Now the horse isn't allowing him to remove any piece of the costume
