He might not realise it, but Pep Guardiola just lost all football credibility today with the injury fakery he orchestrated with his team today. Some might say it’s gamesmanship - others will say it’s cheating, pure and simple. No different from Bloodgate in rugby.

So Brendan Carr - Trump’s lackey at the FCC - now writing to the BBC and scrambling around to try and find his boss a reason for suing the BBC. Which part of his job (paid for by US taxpayers) is to prostitute himself to Trump? I thought the US had a functioning democracy with separation of powers?

Trump now saying that the BBC “changed the words coming out of my mouth.” He made this claim on Airforce 1, broadcast to the world. No ambiguity whatsoever on what he has claimed. It is a lie, and defamatory and damaging to the BBC. The BBC should sue HIM.

Can someone explain to me why the King has stripped his brother of all titles & evicted him for his connection with Epstein, yet Peter Mandelson remains a Lord? It’s clear he’s misled on various occasions about extent of his “friendship”. No excuses, all honours should be removed immediately.

I’m waiting for UK politicians to jump up & down and accuse the Israeli police of antisemitism for cancelling the Maccabi TLV match yesterday due to rioting pre-match…maybe politicians should trust those with responsibility for making decisions based on intelligence rather than jumping on bandwagons

So when Netanyahu says he will “forcibly resist this” what are we to think? More indiscriminate bombing? Doesn’t sound like good faith to me.

Netanyahu says a Palestinian state never going to happen. Time for all not just to pick sides but take action. Economic & sporting sanctions on Israel are overdue & should be implemented now. We can’t have a rogue, apartheid state operating outside the norms of international law without sanctions.

I wonder if Israelis listened to the propaganda spouted by their ambassador to the UN? And I wonder if they are allowed to see and hear the rebuttal from the Qatari ambassador? Israel is without doubt a pariah state and needs to be treated as such by the international community. If not now, when?

Growing up watching westerns I never thought American people would fall for snake oil salesman. But it’s pretty clear too many believe in charlatans like Joe Rogan, a man without an original thought, other than make himself rich. Enjoy your decline from preeminence as China takes over.
