OH NO that's the worrrst. I had an especially bad experience with that last Halloween from a big, suspiciously stale bag of mixed candies/chocolates I got for reasons. Spoiled candy is no joke

Another big thing about this year for me involves that "focus/narrowing list" I talked about way back... I finally finished it, right before last year ended

Last year feels like I let a lot of rot build up. Lots of not accomplishing anything, fumbling interactions with people online, letting my compulsive habits get especially bad, etc. etc.
Too much bad momentum. Having a fresh, new year to work with now feels extremely relieving, and kinda exciting

- Pick up learning Japanese again, daily (until I can actually read all the Japanese-language manga volumes I got last year)
