This is just amazing. The sort of awe inspired by belief in a God is nothing compared to the enlightenment of science. There is no greater reverence than that for the intricate workings of creation itself.

I hate posts like this because I fear post-death revelations, but one thing is for sure: Robert Duvall was a giant among actors.

I read about Epstein accusations including torture, murder, cannibalism, etc., and I think, stay calm, don't give in to the temptation to become a conspiratorial thinker, and then I think some more, and it occurs to me that so far every horrific rumor about these ghouls has been proven true.

My old Toyota costs me 10¢/mi in fuel, 2¢ in tags, and 8¢ in insurance. Maintenance and repairs are currently negligible, but to be safe figure another 10¢/mi to build a repair fund. At 10,000 mi/yr, that's $1,000/yr.
That's 30¢/mi or $3,000/yr total expense.
