What the US Admin and GOP is doing to Americans is cruelty unleashed. It is designed oppression meant to force submission.
They are playing half-court tennis. They believe the game is played by only lobbing balls over the net not expecting it to be served back. You can swing back harder.

For anyone just tuning in, while the US fights back against actual fascism. In Canada, the Conservative party's first crack in their foundation is occurring as moderate members are considering crossing the floor. If that happens we may see the end of this Reform Conservative abomination.

Tomorrow Canada's House of Commons has to make a decision of whether we are going to have another election because they have to approve or not approve of the budget that our government is going to table.
Although inconvenient, that is in fact how Democracy works. Canada is a group project.

We now enter a period of time where the possibility of starvation in the US has risen significantly it only takes roughly two weeks for fatality. 42 Million Americans are on Food Stamps. There has never been a famine in the U.S, ever. Holodomor, Hongerwinter, Great Chinese Famine....Stampfamine.

US K-Split is now arrived and it's pronounced. The rich are spending, while everyone else's purchasing power is eroding. Productivity in the US will slowly drop and then US GDP will recede after the wealthy spending session ends because the length of time it will take on returns will increase.

The current US economy is already in a recession. How do I know it's in a recession? Because companies are raising prices to keep the interest on their debt paid down. The working class will be priced out while the middle class will shoulder it.

One of the USA's entire core foundations is they function with a constitution above anything else. The very idea that the current US administration is supporting the concept of a any form of authoritarian regime is incongruent with it. The US admin swore an oath by this. They are now oath breakers.

The US Administration believe their economy is "roaring" because they are pointing to the stock market.
The stock market is the sports bet, the economy is the actual game. There is now less players, less games and less future games, but far more bets being made.
2008 is knocking at the door.

The US Admin started a war on Democracy. If they want to take what doesn't rightfully belong to them, you might as well employ an attritional bureaucratic defense for every inch of territory they think they gained. They have overextended, drain their strength and keep the way shut.

It must be noted that the recently deceased spoke with venom when it was an antidote prescribed. They eschewed falsehoods when truth was desired. I do not speak of their character, nor my personal feelings, only their actions and the sad end of it. A misery for a misery, a life spent...

It would never be the economic damage, or the cancellation of services, or the kidnapping of people. It instead was the inexhaustible snail of truth that finally crawled into the US administrations house and started to feast. The US admin thought they could far enough away and instead ran into it.

Toronto had two back to back mayors that basically catered to the wealthy, during their leadership the city's rent skyrocketed, our public transit stagnated and our systems started to strain under massive burden of non-investment.
Then we elected someone else who was tired of it too.

Taking a fully integrated international film and television production system that favours the US based entities and absolutely strangling it with a 100% tariff is dumb. No theatregoer is going to want to pay $30 per person to watch a movie. Hollywood will curl up and die.

If you are a young Canadian, and you believe that the Conservatives are going to help you, I have a time machine to sell you that is set to the mid-2000's. Watching Mark Carney work his butt off to keep us afloat, while Stephen Harper played keyboard piano was a Royal Canadian Air Farce stuff.

Someone asked me, why spend time screaming into the internet void if no one is listening. Why argue with yourself in the shower? Why play videogames without streaming it for money...I do it for me. I want to. If someone in the void is listening, it's for their own benefit.
Not mine.

Wealthy and working class have different ideas of what manufacturing jobs look like. The wealthy see low paying jobs and full automation with no benefits. Working class see growing wages and automation assistance, ensuring long-term stability. The wealthy never describe their vision in detail.

TMX pipeline was approved by the Liberal Government and it was paid for with Canadian taxpayer money after a private US corporation bailed out. I struggle to understand how you are stymied in selling *checks notes* one of the most valuable resources on the planet if it's paid for by regular people.

These tariffs are in fact the endgame. Cut the government to shreds, remove income tax for the wealthy and feed the budget on a consumption tax that is predominantly paid by the working and middle class. US Admin just lit the boat on fire and put holes in the bottom.

Could the Conservative Party Leader of Canada stop talking about women like that? There were so many other ways to phrase things and "biological clocks running out" leans into that good ole' incel rhetoric a bit too much. Just say "we haven't forgotten about the couples who want to start families."

Albertans should absolutely be reporting the Premier of Alberta for Federal Election Interference. She admitted to it in an interview, there is evidence of that exchange occurring. That is one of the clearest examples I've seen in my life, never have I read a Premier doing that.

The idiot in chief thought, a nation that has the 9th largest economy, top 5 in democratic ranking indexes, and has one of the highest educated rankings was just going to bend the knee. Canadian knees only bend to put boots on and shovel snow.

I've heard these same words come from MLM scams.

US Admin has done a great job in trying to give the US economy toxic shock syndrome.
Paralytic and turbulent narrow minded straw grasping threadbare ideas falsely projected as cohesive blueprints to reorganize an economy with no procedural guide or organization.
