In orders, one talks about top (⊤) and bottom (⊥) elements, but bottom is too long so one instead calls them top and bot. But bot means many other things. Why not call them bottom and toppom?

Sometimes people online write "I don't know why, but X reminds me of Y", even when it's obvious why X would remind them of Y (e.g. two similar songs).

Has anyone else noticed this pattern? Why would someone write that?

Wikipedia sometimes allows non-free SVGs, but only if they are small. If you zoom in on an SVG, Wikipedia will go to jail.

Complimenting someone's gait feels uncouth, as gait is a pretty ugly word. Maybe I should say that I can see positive qualities by the way they use their walk, no time to talk.

In the 80's Ericsson released the Alfaskop 91 computer and a music video about a "Hacker Trucker" who boasts about using the "A91". It also features a woman with orange-glowing teeth, like a CRT screen. Cool.
