Back from Adelaide and as we enter the driveway, we are greeted within seconds by four Kangaroos, two hares and a young fox. It’s 32 degrees at 7pm. Next week it will be 42 for about five days. Water and Roo food bowls have all been replenished. Where’s my camera ?

A pair of Willy Wagtail fledglings sitting our front step yesterday afternoon. Both parents were feeding even though it was 43 degrees yesterday in South Australia. I think this is the second brood of chicks that the parents have had since November

Wildlife Photography it's not that difficult really when sometimes all I have to do is open a window.

Well it's 42 degrees Celsius so I shall just rest my head here for a while is that okay?
#wildlifephotography is easy when all you have to do is open a window and rest the camera on the window ledge. The local Hares even drink from my departed Labs old bowls.

There I was sitting in my front room listening to Dark Side of the Moon and I happened to look out to see a pair of rather amorous Hares.

My tribute to that great inspirational Photographer Mr. Martin Parr. Not in his league because half the time I was too shy to pull out my camera. These were taken back in the 1980's at various events in the UK. These days people are more used to seeing a camera

The second most deadliest snake in the world, the Brown Snake has decided to come for a drink this afternoon.
I am looking for volunteers to help refill the bowl please?
Also Nikon needs to make a 10,000mm lens for photoshoots such as these.

Flight Training School Class of 2025
First day at Flight Training School.
The fourth Swallow was doing a fly pass across the Kitchen window as I was taking this group shot. They should be good cooks and know how to wash up the dishes as their nest is right by our kitchen window.
A couple of shots taken on my walk this afternoon, I think it is an Australian Hobby. Looks a bit like a Peregrine Falcon but much smaller. I think?

It's amazing just how the Willy Wagtail chicks can grow up so fast.
The first image was taken on the 23rd October and the last image today 4th November.

Three heads are sometimes better than one?
The Willy Wagtail chicks are coming along and thankfully this year the nest is holding firm. The parents build a nest about five metres from our living room window.

The Willy Wagtails that have nested about 4M from our living room window have three recently hatched chicks. Flies for tea mum Thanks!
Mother Roo had to put her Joey in his place because he threw a tantrum when he tried to get back in the pouch.

The Kestrel that I mentioned yesterday spent all night roosting on the window above our front door. It flew off this morning but was struggling. It spent an hour sitting on our 4WD posing. I am pleased to say it soared off to rejoin the three other Kestrels.

This female Kestrel is now roosting on the window above our front door. It has been hanging about all day, not sure if it is due to the highs winds, hail and cold weather we have just had? But we usually get three nesting pairs each year.
