The second most deadliest snake in the world, the Brown Snake has decided to come for a drink this afternoon.
I am looking for volunteers to help refill the bowl please?
Also Nikon needs to make a 10,000mm lens for photoshoots such as these.

Flight Training School Class of 2025
First day at Flight Training School.
The fourth Swallow was doing a fly pass across the Kitchen window as I was taking this group shot. They should be good cooks and know how to wash up the dishes as their nest is right by our kitchen window.
A couple of shots taken on my walk this afternoon, I think it is an Australian Hobby. Looks a bit like a Peregrine Falcon but much smaller. I think?

It's amazing just how the Willy Wagtail chicks can grow up so fast.
The first image was taken on the 23rd October and the last image today 4th November.

Three heads are sometimes better than one?
The Willy Wagtail chicks are coming along and thankfully this year the nest is holding firm. The parents build a nest about five metres from our living room window.

Mother Roo had to put her Joey in his place because he threw a tantrum when he tried to get back in the pouch.

The Kestrel that I mentioned yesterday spent all night roosting on the window above our front door. It flew off this morning but was struggling. It spent an hour sitting on our 4WD posing. I am pleased to say it soared off to rejoin the three other Kestrels.

This female Kestrel is now roosting on the window above our front door. It has been hanging about all day, not sure if it is due to the highs winds, hail and cold weather we have just had? But we usually get three nesting pairs each year.

Little Raven flying home to roost at sunset the other evening.
I was sitting on a log trying to capture some Welcome Swallows flying over the dam but it got too dark so I pointed my camera to the only patch of light left.

Very different to the Robin that I grew up with in the UK, the one that we all saw at Christmas even if it was on a card. The male Red Capped Robin, native to OZ made an appearance yesterday.

The mother better make sure that she holds on to her baby in the back seat. Those Outback roads ! The driver has a full load with his Ford Model T delivering passengers and newspapers to Berri in South Australia. Year unknown, 1920's ?

I've just brought a box of vintage glass slides from an auction and dusted off my trusty old Epson V700 from the cupboard and it still works.
So far I have been unable to find out where these two Plumbers were from

This has to be the hairiest Kangaroo that I have ever seen. He lives up in the ranges and judging by his ears he has been in a few battles over the years.

And with two furlongs to go we have Jumping Jacky Flash in the lead. She's carrying extra weight with a jockey in the pouch cheering mum on.
