its hard to tell without actually playing but i like that as a concept, mario does a thing where u get 1 health for each coin which is too easy, banjo does it so that health pickups are weirdly rare, sounds like a good middleground

for the sake of cost I'm going to try to learn how to make my own paper mache clay, but if that doesnt work out I'll probably try using polymer clay again and I'll make sure to keep this advice in mind!

no its okay! I appreciate it, I've always had issues with polymer clay compared to air dry, but air dry I've had issues with texture and such ahah - its very appreciated!!!

I just roll and knead it yeah, though its just monte mart clay and not like sculpey or smth

oh smart!! I never wouldve thought about freezing it!
one of my issues with polymer clay is that when you condition it, to stop it crumbling when its baked, it also becomes way softer and kinda unusable for me
will definitely give that a shot some point!!!

this is really cute!! are they carved or sculpted? what did you carve them out of if so? I've had really good experiences carving chunks of air dry clay but it can be a bit counter intuitive to dry the clay in to cubes and then carve it out from that so ive been looking for other mediums for that

I have one of these, they break really easily unfortunately, not really worth it

sometimes it helps to just start doing smaller things where you can see some level of progress even if its not very impressive, burnout normally happens when you stop seeing any results or changes in what you're doing

but yeah that aside motivation tends to come as a rollercoaster, it takes a lot more effort to force yourself to be creative when ur not feeling it than it does to wait for the motivation to come naturally,, its not like theres any major push that you need to make
