A picture of a graphite drawing. It's a tattoo I drew up of a thorny rose stabbed through an ornamental valentines heart. The drawing is posed near a bunch of other rose studies I created this flash drop using reference pictures I took from a rose garden when I went to Ashland OR a few years back in the spring to see plays at the Oregon shakespear festival. The city was stunning and covered in gardens and rose bushes. I couldn't help taking dozens of reference photos to work from. So glad I finally got to revisit those photographs. The drawing is mounted with pink washi tape. It rests on my wooden kitchen table next to a ceramic hand that I use to store rings but pictured here without any rings. There is also a cebu blue eppipremnum pinatum vine hanging nearby plus a dreamy and romantic beam of sunshine came into the scene toward the end of photographing all my new flash.

My father in law passed away this week while me & family stayed by his side in the Pomona Valley hospital. I am in major grief/mourning mode for me & my family. My heart hurts. I flew down on the day of my mom's 8 year death anniversary, & flew back without a father. Everything is just so heavy rn.

Another self tie I forgot to share! Learning more & more. My friend gifted me some more hanks & also a book on rope bottoming 🖤🧶🐈‍⬛ I appreciate all the connections, support, & encouragement of my journey. Its been a huge release & advancement of my commitment to self love and grounding ❤️‍🔥

She is still working on tension but this one was probably her better of many of her practice sessions. This session left little rope marks on my ankles so that made her happy. But she was still able to move around just a tad. Without a rope partner, tension is tricky when you're trying to maneuver to tie plus keeping seated in the proper position. The following try with a similar tie, she used a wall for balance and to keep her super still and it helped a lot! Zoe is a pale red headed non binary femme wearing a black dressing robe.
