The UK’s biggest community-owned wind farm, funding charitable projects of all sizes within the crofting communities of Point and Sandwick on the Isle of Lewis.
Development Director, Calum MacDonald gave evidence at the Energy Security & Net Zero Select Committee in its inquiry into Unlocking Community Energy at Scale. We know that community-owned renewables projects give much greater benefits for their local economies compared to corporate schemes.
