If anyone watched the Metroid Prime 4 trailer, you would have seen that there are multiple Federation members that need rescuing. This Miles guy might be annoying, but if there are more people who need saving, I seriously doubt that he's going to be Samus's sidekick.

I could definitely see Candi and Chip tying the knot, and perhaps Shawn and Peppi (though their relationship is pretty open). I think it would be nice if Nina and Duncan got married, too. I don't really want to give away too much yet, and I hope I can tell more stories in the future.
