Crocheted with Madeline Tosh blanket arn in muted earthtone colors such as brown, dark rose, green, and gray, around a central mandala is draped over a yellow couch. Bottom left: an afgan layed out on a weathered gray deck. It's a mix of squares and stripes with different Tunisian stich patterns and textures all stiched with Premier Anti-Pilling Worsted in cream. Bottom right: a stich sampler afghan in process, drapped over the legs of the crocheter. Each stripe is a different texture or stitch. The colors of the stripes alternate between 5 Premier Anti-Pilling Worsted shades of tan, plumb, rose, cream, and blue. #crochet

Took a rainy stroll around the yard today (I love spring rain). Happy to see the foxglove have started sprouting in my little corner of the misty, mossy, PNW. 🥰🌲

Today I cast on "Gnome Pun Intended" (pattern by Sarah Schira) with some earthy colors of leftover MadTosh worsted blanket yarn. The sliuchy hat color is "Pecan Hull" and the body will likely be a scrappy mix TBD.

For this week's #CrochetAway - Blue: An afghan I crocheted for my parents. Pattern is "The Gansey Style Crochet Afghan" by Lena Skvagerson.

#CrochetAway #Wip week: my "Starlight Blanket of Stars" (pattern by Alice Terry of The Burrow UK) has been hibernating way too long. Once all assembled, mine will fade center out from the pink, to the purples, to the blues (there's an additional purple and a blue not pictured here). 🧶

Jumping on the #CrochetAway train with a twofer. This week's green and last week's quick projects promps: Bubbling Cauldron and Zombie Cranium coaster sets. It's hard to see the multiple shades of green in the verigated cauldron coasters/bubbles in pics. 🧙‍♀️🧟‍♀️🧶😊

I'm taking a detour from my recent knitting marathon to make some progress on the fun mosaic crochet blanket I started a few months ago. I wish my camera would pick up the colors in the "Woodland" background yarn more accurately. It reminds me of foggy days in the Olympic Rain Forest. 🧶✨️🧙‍♀️🌲

Hello bluesky. I created this account a while back, but haven't posted yet. Just gonna jump in with week 29 of #ShowMeYourKnits - #WIPs 🧶

I've made progress on both since the pics. I have lots of hibernating WIPs not pictured.🫣
Sneaky Spider Socks in progress. Pattern by Marie Elyse Dugal and yarn by Coven Collective. The legs, heels, and gussets are done and I'm working on the feet. The yarn is a dark semi-solid purple brown and a verigates orange. The cuff is the purple/brown, the leg and foot are single row stripes with both colors, the eye of partridge heel flap is in the verigated orange. Ther are bobble spiders on the legs hanging from "web" in the purple/brown. Anthology Throw in progress. Pattern by Curious Handmade and yarn is the 2024 "Dark and Dreamy" silky sock fingering advent by A Chick That Knitz. It's a circular, striped, scrappy style throw with a mix of solid and verigated yarns. So far it starts with purple in the center and moves into blues, then burgundy and pink, back to blue, then yellow, the orange, then reds.
