I remember this happening to me (the throttle breaking!) on my mums Renault 5 when I was 18. My dad came out tied a line of strummer cake to it and I got home pulling on it through the drivers window. Ah the good old 1980’s 😬

I think this comment '“pathetic” system, named ‘Peppermint’' kind of sums up the issue. Peppermint I am guessing is www.pepperminttechnology.com and so maybe they haven't really brought their stakeholders on the change journey with them?
