The early rain at #RHSChelseaFlowerShow really picked the planting up so it looks it’s been growing there for months not just a few days

End of the first public day at #RHSChelsea Busy to the point that people were queuing to get inside the #hut The stands are judged, setting a high bar, and we got 4 stars, helped by planting from Urban Garden in Bath

Saturday at #RHSChelsea and we have put in all the plants on our tradestand. Busy day, tomorrow we will do the final finishing, get the signage up and get the interior ready. This is a hut for a customer, with a raised double bed and dog bed beneath. Monday is press day, royal visit and gala night

Friday at #RHSChelsea was about getting the structure in around the #shepherdshut that was in position on Tuesday. Today we will get all the plants in place. Great atmosphere at the show as everyone builds up to the greatest #garden flower show in the World

This narrow strip of land, which we manage with a ‘90% for #nature / 10% for our human enjoyment’ approach, is feeling more like a #wilderness year on year. Which I know will upset the tidy majority but the #wildlife likes it and so do we.

#Bath on Friday, one of the best #Waterboys gigs yet. The Hopper section, now I get it. That other-worldly vocal from Barny Fletcher! This Is The Sea, always energising. The transition from Hopper to the great build up to Don’t Bang the Drum was unbelievable. @mickpuck.bsky.social It was brilliant

I’m enjoying being in the Writer’s Hut as my office, first built for our RHS Chelsea #garden in 2012. Quite a #creative space it is #craft #design

We are converting boards of customer-supplied sawn English oak, a hedgerow oak that was wind blown and planked by our customer many years ago. Stacked in stick, seasoned and now being crafted into a Plankbridge kitchen. A challenge yes, but a testament to our furniture maker Simon’s craft skills

I’ve just had a walk round the workshop, and the quality of the work the team are producing is so heartwarming and striking to see. From the #design through to the build, the #furniture, the paint finish and the detailing feels like the #craftsmanship of old and is reassuring in this crazy world.

First post on here! There will be interesting news around the workshop, looking at the designs we create, craft and deliver. There’s some exciting projects coming up, like this pitched roof cabin design which headed off to the Mediterranean
