That one time in New Orleans. Guinness connoisseur. Film enthusiast. Remarkably expressive eyebrows. She/Her.
This is undoubtedly one of my favourite films to have come out this year. Attending the Sinners in Conversation at the BFI was an absolute delight. A huge shoutout to the legendary Ryan Coogler, along with Miles Caton and Michael B. Jordan.

Waiting for the lift in the office next to THE Glenn Close was not on my bucket list today.

Who wouldn't want to spend their Sunday enjoying a Harrison Ford movie marathon on the big screen? Finished it off with a screening of Blade Runner at the BFI.

Just seen Sinners for the third time, and it's just as damn good. The soundtrack is phenomenal. Ludwig Göransson, what a legend.

Robert Pattinson slaps. Overall, Mickey 17 is not the strongest Bong Joon-ho film but I liked its concept, it just didn’t hit the mark for me.

#TheSeagull curtain call from earlier this week. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The supporting cast was strong, particularly Emma Corrin and Jason Watkins. Cate Blanchett was fascinating to watch on stage. Three hours flew by for me. An all-around great production. Would recommend.

Rewatched Parasite in the cinema and it was as excellent as I remember. Looking forward to seeing Bong Joon-ho’s Mickey 17 next.

Snagging front row tickets to see the legendary Cate Blanchett in Thomas Ostermeier's adaptation of Chekov’s The Seagull. The play was fantastic. I have nothing to add except that she, and the entire cast, was outstanding. Worth the wait at the stage door too.

I’m Still Here is my film of the year. Fernanda Torres is an absolute powerhouse in it and she gave the best performance of the nominees. Winning International Feature Film was very well-deserved.

Seeing Richard II, followed by A Streetcar Named Desire, starring Jonathan Bailey and Paul Mescal respectively, sure made for an excellent theatre week in the West End.

First theatre outing of the year, seeing Oedipus. Bit of a mess. Whilst the choreography of the dancers was impressive, Oscar winner Rami Malek's performance lacked presence on stage and fell flat. Would have been annoyed had I spent more than my £10 tickets for this.
