Went out with about 20 other friends last night and did some caroling. Can not recommend this highly enough. Simple way to share the joy of the season with your neighbors. I dare you to try it!

One of the things that stood out from our time in Thailand was during our visit to a Karen refugee camp in NuPo. We spent part of the day with a Bible school there which had a class of about 45 or so students btw 18-50something. When we came in they were singing a song together and then later

I am amazed/astounded/troubled by the volume of "worm theology" that I hear from Christians. We would do well to reflect on the wisdom of C. S. Lewis here: "Humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less."

One more day and we're heading back home from a great 3 weeks in Thailand. We went from Chiang Mai to Mae Sot to Umphang to Latongku and back. Got to see some great ministries all along the way and even better people. Food wasn't bad either! Excited to get home though!
