Good morning!

Today I will be mainly cruising into this old oil painting and out the other side. I will keep an eye out for chimney sweeps and nannies.

Good morning!
Looking over the tiller, the thick carpet of leaves on the towpath to the roght leads towards Audlem to lock and the hump-backed bridge behind it. Rapidly balding trees are reflected in the mirror-still water of the canal. On the stone wall of the house to the right of the lock sits a three-sided wooden shop containing two fridges and an honesty box.

Good morning!
A work tug and barge are moored on the canal in front of a hump- backed bridge. They are so well used that the tug is ruting and the cargo bay of the barge is filled with brambles and weeds.

Good morning!
Ahead of our bows, shadowy forms of moored narrowboats reflect in dark pre-dawn water, behind them a warehouse dotted with security lights is silhouetted against an iron grey sky. Behind a crane to the left a bright light on a building to its right accurately mimics the glow of the sun hiding just below the horizon to its left. A line of high broken clouds starts at the crane and flows leftwards filling that part of the sky.

A narrow dog snoozing in the narrowest part of his #narrowboat to recover from having to travel by car to get there.
He hates cars, loves boats. #GoodDog.
Archie the collie snoring gently as he lies in the narrowest part of the inside of his narrowboat. Behind him is a lounge area that is twice as wide. No thanks, he says.
