✨️ When starting on a drawing/design, I rarely ever have a fleshed-out idea, usually just following a vague concept (in this case, a black cat). It can be hard to just 'trust the process' when I don't even know what I want the finished piece to look like. But when I do trust it... It's pretty sick ✨️❤️
After about 15 minutes of drawing and fiddling with pixel placement, this is the result. Basic, but you gotta start somewhere. Now we're getting somewhere, we got some additional shading and gradients going on, it's lookin good bruh~ And this is where I got a bit stuck... It's cute, nice colors and all, but it just doesn't feel right. Maybe it needs less, maybe it needs more? Making art based on feeling rather than a rigid structure/outline can be tricky and honestly annoying, but you just gotta believe in yourself, trust your creativity, FIGHT the DEMONS of DOUBT 🗡🔥 Now THIS... This is a gorgeous cat right here, this is going to make a fantastic Perler piece 😍 I still have a tiny voice telling me it needs more, but sometimes you just need to learn when to stop, even if you want to keep adding more detail. Otherwise you get something like Thor Love and Thunder, and nobody wants a Thor Love and Thunder 🥲
