I still can't believe people are getting snapped up and sent to foreign torture prisons without due process. I still can't believe people are still using the word "deported." I still can't believe elected representatives have gone on record that it's also okay to do this to US citizens. WTAF.

For sure Chips,ppl can see Trumpism is a load of selfish negative bullshit. We vote on Saturday and the Conservative Opposition Leader has been using a Trump like election campaign. He actually sought someone from the Trump camp to learn the ropes. Ian

@xskinn.bsky.social … need to finish out year with some positive stuff so they continue next year. Otherwise a lot of them will be fry cooks at McDonalds.

@xskinn.bsky.social Hey Ian - been out of it for while. Had big vacation to Vegas (more later) & been engaging w/ local school to steer kids to good careers in tech. This area in NM has a lot of poverty - these schools are Tier 1 - poverty schools. I’m trying to bring them tech possibilities.

I have a big ask. My 9yo son is autistic and he’s been raising a betta fish he named Kevin. Yesterday He asked if he could “share a photo of Kevin with the whole world“. I don’t know if this will work, but a dad’s gotta try. Like and share if that’s your thing. Kevin says hi! 🐟👋

One of my worries: I work with poor kids to get them onto real STEM career path. I tell them it’s a great future. Is there a great future for anyone in USA? Am I lying to them? We’re losing funding as Tier 1 - I will make up what I can but this is frustrating and depressing.

FWIW: Do EE at local schools. 4 years at Capital High. Bunch of awards & kids were on TV! Knew nothing at start now TED Talk veterans < than a year. Now I’m w/K-5 at César Chavez elementary. Kids mesmerized by pcb layout! Awesome! Get excited when they make LED light up. Want 2 solder! Oh no!
