A colleague’s peer reviewed article was plagiarised and published in another journal. It was submitted for consideration by the plagiarists six days after being published open access by my colleague. Lawyers are now involved. Anyone else had this experience?

Three weeks ago I decided to work 40 hour weeks instead of my normal 50-60. I knew I wouldn’t get through my workload . No surprise what isn’t getting done.

Currently going through several thousand responses to a survey about the use of AI in academia. We have known about the human exploitation cost for several months at least, and not one academic raised this issue. #Disappointing
