Looking into testing out Linux on an old laptop to try it out.

Does anyone have experience using Linux for audio production or game dev stuff? The only major thing I’m seeing is plugin support is iffy.

Over 100 tracks and over 40 vocalists split between cast and community ensemble.

Truly one of the biggest tracks I’ve ever had the honor of mixing and mastering. I’m glad everyone is enjoying it!

I’ve said this to several people already this weekend, but it’s crazy the number of people that have complimented by spec cam/observer op skills for competitive Splatoon 3. I’ve been getting props from higher level commentators this weekend as well

I’m thankful but it still feels so weird to me lol

I keep seeing talk about bsky being dead or stuff being impossible to go viral.

I personally like the very cozy and community driven vibe of it. I just wanna show cool people cool stuff and see cool stuff from cool people. It just feels very old-school internet to me, where it’s not about virality.

I finished implementing the SSX Tricky menu game audio and some more into Wwise. Reaper is sending event calls timed to silent gameplay footage to Wwise and Wwise is playing back events in real-time. These events have random container variations as well with all the audio from the original game.

I kinda took a day off from this weird “Putting the SSX Tricky Audio into Wwise” phase I’m in rn, but I’ve been mentally placing all of the assets into Sound SFX objects and Random/Switch Containers and making Events out of those.

Oh, don’t think I forgot about that dynamic soundtrack 😏
