'Been playing with some Natrix ship interiors, and it is a quite interesting to figure out a layout for a ship that spends most of its time under thrust gravity (tower layout), but is supposed to belly land as well.

The ship has a tower layout, due to thrust gravity under acceleration, so there are some steep ladder-stairs for the five levels. The cockpit has three seats, where you'd be laying on your back, and there are some black people for scale reference

We started working on some station screen redesign mockups, and a general rethinking and facelifting the UX

Needed distraction from some heavy stuff, and mocking up a new space station screen mockups for Pioneer Space Simulator felt like the thing to work on. Still rough and clunkily put together, but starts to shape up.

User interface mockup for the space game Pioneer. Showing the space station interface, where the player can do things like go to the market, buy ship, etc. This is the main lobby screen, with station servuces, an overview of ship status and a refueling interface. Also shows an external view of the ring station. An addendum to the previous screen, showing a calendar and mission deadline listing popover on the left.

I've started blocking out a possible version of the Storeria rework for @pioneerspacesim.net
Aiming for an interstellar hauler capable if both tail sitter and belly sitter configuration. (And to tempt the others to implement that feature ; )

One of our artist, @bszlrd.hu made a quick mockup of a possible hyperspace effect, in Blender.
While it is not 100% realistic, the aim is to show the field of view contraction and blueshifting that happens in the direction of travel when FTL. Without those pesky x-rays frying the pilot.

Maks2103, a member of our community created a mod that reintroduces older versions of our recently redesigned ships, treating them as in-univers older versions, with stats set accordingly.

As a debut greetings on Bluesky, we would like to announce our new Pioneer Day (mostly) stable release including a major rewrite of the equipment system, the redesigned Natrix courier, an unified UI color theme and a lot of polish work.
