I attended Strike The Colours by @orchidlarp.bsky.social and got to be a young pirate full of stories and bullshit and I crowed with the wind and sang through the nights and thoroughly broke my heart over the loss of our ship and home and adventures. 😭❤️

It really is such a hard experience to digest because it was genuinely such a good story. And it's hard to let go of it. Im sure eventually I will but for now, I'm staying just a while longer.

The players of the first run of Children of The House left yesterday and the House is empty and void of the Beauty they filled it with.
I'll write more after the second run but to me, the struggles were worth it. I'm hurting immensely that I can't play this larp myself though. D:

Tomorrow for the next 10 days im off to run Children of The House which started as such an intense passion project. But for the past few months, absolutely everything has been cursed about it, we have such insane crew struggles due to cancellations, writers jumping ship...im tired. So fucking tired.

Yesterday I made a bigger push for the promotion I've been promised at work for over a year now. And today, I was told that they're budgeting it in for next year and suddenly, this will probably actually happen 🥳 unnervingly bold move for me - but so worth it. ♡
