I’ve really worked hard on building relationships with my students, I made my room a safe space for them when they need to get away from stuff I made my self open and available for whatever they need school wise and personal.

I really hate that I won’t be out there coaching my boys this season man 😞😞😞😞 I wanted to stay with them on the journey we started together, from being straight up losers two years ago to becoming division champions and moving up a division this year

So the district did walkthroughs today and luckily they came through during the last 10 minutes of my first period so I was in a good zone.
Fast forward I needed to find the principal and just so happened to walk in as they were discussing how my walkthrough went and the lady was speaking 1/2

Today went exactly how I thought I def missed my kids… that quickly wore off by third/fourth period 😭😭😭😭. But I’m glad to be back in the swing of things 14 days till Christmas break is the new countdown 🤞🏾
